aAt the first chance you have, tell a Teacher or Policeman. Give them your last address and phone number.

aWhat should you do if you see someone on fire?

aYou should stop them. Quickly get them to the ground and use your shirt or jacket to smother the flames. Keep rolling them along ground until the fire is out. 

 

aShould you use your arms to keep your distance from a stranger?

aYou should stay calm. Check the neighborhood. If everyone’s lights are off, it’s a power outage and it will go back on soon. If everyone’s lights are on except yours, It’s a good idea to call your Contact Person, neighbor or Safety House.

aShould you put your name and address on your key or key chain so it can be returned if lost?

aNO! A name and address is an open invitation to a burglar. A lost key can always be replaced. Be sure to tell parents if you lose your key.

 

 

 

 

 

 

aWhen you hear someone calling “FIRE-FIRE-FIRE,” what should you do?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

aFirst, feel your door. If it is not hot, you can open it. Exit the house as quickly as possible. If you are above the first floor, do not jump! Call for help. Yell “FIRE-FIRE-FIRE.” Stay in the open window until help arrives.
